Stalker Potential Scare

So it’s gonna be another week of test and so I thought I would update yall now. Well, right now I can’t even really think of what’s been going on this past week cause I’m sort of freaked out about something. It was my turn to sing worship at church this week, so we were practicing on Saturday in Patrick’s garage (garabe band, haha not really), but anyways yeah so this random guy comes up the street and just listens to us. I thought it was neat, and Patrick went over there and talked to him and invited him to church and to pick him up and all. OK, so I had to wake up at 7am this morning, (Thanks to Justin for clearing up my confusion at 5am). So I go to church and we wait on Patrick, while we were waiting for some people, that guy comes up to me saying, “Hi, I’m Sean.” So I politely said, “Hi, I’m Natalie”. That would have been fine but did it stop there........ OOOH NO. He added, “I knew that there was no way I would ever meet you unless I came to church today,” YEAH..... FREEEEAK. I was like OMG, but somehow God totally talked for me and I answered, “Well, we’re glad you could came” and I totally didn’t sound fake at all. But deep down I was like omg.... this is stalker potential. It wouldn’t be as scary if this dude was clean cut or something, we’re talking about LONG hair, weird just all around. I know this sounds mean, but hello what am I supposed to think when someone says that to me. What kind of person would randomly say that to a stranger!?!? I ignored eye contact with him through the whole practice, service, I even escaped telling everyone in the band bye so I would have to go up to him. Later today, I had to volunteer for the Fall Fest for church. So there I sit with my pal Aaron , the drummer, who randomly tells me, “I was praying to God, and He said the only way I would meet you was if I came up to you”. At the time it didn’t register that he said something different from what that guy said but I picked up that he totally had heard that guy. I didn’t know anyone heard, and he was like, “YEAH, I did and all I kept wondering was like what you were gonna say to him”. Turns out he heard him say the whole praying to meet me thing, but yeah I know what I heard, as if either one is better than the other. But yeah Aaron decided to tell like everyone, bc he thought it was funny, which it’s not, I’m sure you guys are laughing but yall know how I am, it’s typical for me to freak out. So then Aaron tells me that he caught him STARING at me while we were praying before the service... that’s always nice huh, knowing you are being looked at while you are praying to God. He also tells me that the guy went up to Hector, the bass player, and told him that I was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. AHH ok seriously, NOW do you get me, stalker potential. SO yeah... good thing I’m going to see my girl Sarah this weekend up in Baylor to escape this “admirer”.
And another funny story, Amy and I decided to go to the hot tub yesterday to relax. Well, we didn’t tell our roommates where we were going. Well, we left and we were out there for a bit till the mosquitoes were like swarming. So we come, and what do you know...... we are LOCKED out. SO yeah, there goes Amy and I in our bikinis and towels, like pounding at the door. It was quite dumb, cause we realized very soon that no one was home. Our roommates stay out late, like 4am so I was like are you kidding me, we are sleeping outside. So there we go walking around the apt complex trying to find I don’t know what because there was nothing we could do. While everyone was all dressed up in their costumes here we are in the street with a towel, we looked quite lovely and distressed. So yeah, we had to climb on our balcony and wait, wait, and wait till they got there. And because Amy and I prayed, they ended up coming like and hour and half later. So yeah... and because we were traumatized and I had bumps all over my body bc of the mosquitoes, we went to Sonic and treated ourselves.
On Friday we finally got to hang out with Stephanie where we went to Chilis. Why Chilis you ask... because Joe Alex works there. Who’s Joe Alex.... well he’s Amy’s crush who very much in returns fancies her as well. BUT neither one of them had made the move to exchange phone numbers. So Stephanie and I finally got Amy to bust our of her shell and she asked a waiter if he had a gf. That led Joe Alex to tell Amy he didn’t and who wanted to know, and well obviously it was her. Awww sweet! So yeah... they exchanged numbers and so Amy has a new friend now ;)
As for me, well... I don’t know. I think it’s very true that you start wanting something, as soon as you know you can’t have it anymore, or need to let it go. Hmmmm boys, can’t live with them, but sure as heck can’t live without them!!! I believe that entry was enough for a long while....
