The Gang
I know I haven't written in a while. It's been pretty hectic with test and all, among other things. School has gone by so fast, I can't believe that the end of the semester is sneaking up (not that I'm complaining, this is a VERY wonderful thing!). This past weekend we had a gang reunion in San Marcos. Sarah came down from Baylor, Matthew came also up from good ol' Richmond. So it was a complete Gang reunion with my sistas Sarah and Amy, and my forever friend Matthew. We had a good time hanging out like always. We watched Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow or something like that...... yeah.... that was different. It wasn't awful it was just different, actually was a little better than I thought it would be. And we took a small advantage of Matthew's age for the first time, haha. We've shared some good ol' times, but it's awesome knowing that I know we will never part. I know that time will pass and we might not see eachother as much as we would like when we graduate and go our seperate ways, but one thing is for sure that no distance can ever break up the gang.
It's kinda sad though, I feel like I've been losing touch with some people. I hate letting friendships go, but then I think well a friendship works both ways. So perhaps if they are willing to let it go, then maybe I should too. Of course I say that but for some reason I don't like letting people go. Maybe it's just one of this permanent qualities that will just stick with me throughout my life, it's not like it ever hurt anyone anyway.
So yeah... I'm learning more about baseball. I'm excited about it too. Thanks to my teacher Justin ;) We're hoping for a Yankees vs Astro world series..... that would just be TOO exciting.
I'm going home again this weekend to visit Robert, who's back from Iraq. He'll get sent off to Japan next, and I think I might have to cook him the hamburger he's been requesting of me for a while. He chose this because he knows it's my kind of cooking, from a box with instructions!! Easier than Ham in a can recipes RAY , HAHA. Which by the way... where the heck have you been?? I also get to see my chica Marisol, I miss you girl!!! Oh good ol' times in Richmond. That's enough catching up.... till next time!
